in the "upcoming events" section, that is only for admin's to post events, no one else can post anything there. its not a discussion area.

i dont like that idea, i just had to repost the topic to respond to a dialogue between the admins and i will have to do that if i have q's or want to look at anything, is that the only way to do a sticky?

we just wanted a nice and clean way for us to post events without all the replies. if someone wants to come look up info, they can go to that section so find out details without having to sort through all the posts.

Back to the topic at hand, regarding replies, I noticed that only the "quote" button works to add a reply, neither the quick reply nor multi-quote buttons seem to work, even though it says to use them in the greyed-out quick-reply area. Is this on purpose? if so, can you just change the template to not allow the quick-reply section at the bottom of the post?

So now I will have to repost a topic every time... makes sense, like wiping before you poop! I understand the idea of wanting to be the only ones to post events, thats ok, but now lets be able to respond, is there anyway to make that possible, because from what you are telling me the reasoning there is so that people don't have to search through all the posts to get info, so then wouldnt the original post still be on top, you have me quite confused now... unless you will respond to yourself based on the second reposted topic to further inform people... not going to lie, our website is not the most informative, it looks really good, but half the buttons don't work, and the pages are not as in depth with information as would be preffered... btw did you ever get the business card, I want to say I emailed it to you and to thom?

The "upcoming events" is not for discussion. there is another section for that.

if there are any links that do not work on the website, please let me know. I have a new web template for the site that I am currently working on.
