new to the game

never been to the track but would like to make my way on. i understand there is registration and inspection for the lapping and autoX days. is there anyway i could just pay some money to drive on the track not in any special race with anyone else? i live maybe 20 miles from the usair track in shawano. Is there only one day left this year for me to get my feet wet? thanks in advance. -Joe

When you attend the lapping day at USAIR, you will be out there with other cars. The lapping days are a non-timed event so its not competitive at all. You are more than welcome to attend and see how you and your significant auto can perform.

As for registration, all you have to do is show up and register the day off. Stay posted to the forum as more details will be listed as we get closer to the event.

Tech inspection of your car is fairly simple. Battery tied down, wheels on tight, no loose wheel bearings or ball joints. Basic stuff...

Um no. If you just show up and the event is full with the people who pre-registered you will be on the sidelines watching. Registration will be posted here and on the website when it is ready.

Lapping days are not races. More of a track experience day.
