To keep the neon or get this miata?that is the ? lol

Ok i found a pretty good deal on a 93 le miata with 65k on it but has been a city car and winter driven so has dings here and there with some rust starting on one rocker.Im thinking i could do the suspension and reg maint etc and fix the rust this winter and autocross it this coming season then have painted next winter when put away.For the non miata people its a pretty rare car.1 out of 1500 with this package.Black with red interior.Now the ? is do i give up on the neon and pick up this miata and build it.I had a 99nb miata before the neon but sold it cause of poor body work it had before i got it.......I miss having miata in a way and think i should pick this one up and hang on to it for some years.

Not trading it.Would be keeping neon for now till sell it.The le is cheap imo but needs work.


3500 for the le.The way i look at it is with the cond its in i would pay that if it was just a reg base model with that many miles.Yeah it needs some body work and paint down the road but i think its a car i would wanna hang on to for a while.

It seems like a smarter investment to get the miata if you plan to hang on to it for a while. You're asking if you should trade a front wheel drive car for a rear wheel drive car. I like rear wheel drive so it seems like the miata is an obvious choice.

Not trading the car.I just dont want to deal with having the neon and the miata to work on etc so when i got the miata i would make sure to sell the neon as i have interest in the car.I want one fun car.The neon will hang with alot of miatas.The neon would put my last built miata to shame lol.If i keep the neon i would prob swap all of it to a different shell in the rare nyg color i wanted.I know where one of them is also fs.This is also a car i would like to have and hang on to lol.I dont wanna be like tom and have 50 cars.I dont have time for that.

guy in michigan.......Its just a sports coupe shell but if i got that and swapped my drivetrain and suspension setup etc it wouldnt matter much.It prob would weigh few lbs more then my acr.I have alot of respect for 1st gen neons and have been into them for years.I always get something else and end up back with another one.I dont know why but they are alot of fun when maintained and built right.options options.Smit.I like my acr but the body has seen better days lol.

Lol.........It had all the performance goods and a poser package if you would call it.I like the poser package.Red interior pretty sweet with all the trim stuff lol
