Anyone got a decent place to look for the bmw parts? Ive used rockauto and that bavarian place. My parents have a 98 740il and it seem that it needs parts weekly. We've changed the rad(cracked tank) and just order left cat, spark plugs, stab links, valve cover gaskets from bavautos. Currently looking for struts, anyone make a quickstrut thing for these?

Thanks

Are you apologizing for BMW?

Yep.... :) I am a hardcore BMW guy, but I'll admit they can be pricy to upkeep... especially with the 740... He should just be happy its not a 750.... LOL!

pelican looks good, as far as reliability not so good, but the ride is amazing.

Salvage yard in hortonville specializes in euro stuff. Wanna say it's called Dons sports cars.

Got dirty this weekend and did plugs valve cover gaskets and sway bar links. Was a nice change of pace after changing them on the ta(knuckle busting). At least the made it easy to work on them.

There are actually a lot of places/sites where you can buy BMW accessories (http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/bmw~rep.html) and parts. I used to bought parts for my bimmer from a lot of suppliers online cause most of them got discounts depending on the parts you need.
