Jim,
I bought the Capri because it was $500 and was basically rust free and it looked fairly complete. The seats were trashed but I've already put some late model Mercury Tracer seat in it until I decide to buy some racing type seats.
My fall back plan was to make a locost with it but the body is in just to nice of shape to strip it, so I have an Euro Ford now.
I've actually never gone autoxing before but that's my intent with the Capri.
I just bought a Ford Type E transmission to replace my Type F since the shifter was basically junk and the Type E was cheaper than buying a universal shifter. I am going through the brakes at the moment and will be throwing new rubber on it. I picked up some 14" steel and rubber cladded mustang rims to get some more tire choices.
My window weatherstripping is all shot though, especially in and around the doors and the flip out windows. The windshield needs to be replaced but luckly I have an extra one that came with the car.
Well that sucks about the bumpers, maybe I'll just take my bumpers off...
I've got a bunch of pictures over on Grassroots Motorsports' website.

Hopefully I'll be driving it soon,
Ross
