For an Auto-x minor dry rot would not bother me, especially if you are a beginner. Go out and wear the tires out so they really need replacement before you replace them. I would not recommend the tires be used for extended periods at high speed or for a big HPDE style track day.

g stock is where 06+ si falls.I never understood the mugen package was that a dealer add on or from factory?

They came factory like that. That's what I'm not sure about too because they came from the factory with upgraded sway bars, struts, lowers springs, rims, tires, and adjustable spoiler. So therefore it really is not a stock civic SI but yet it is too because they came from the factory like that.

^^^^^sounds good to me. I'll prob. take them to the auto x in USAIR then afterwards I'll see if BFG will warranty them for me and give me a new set.
